Free guided tours of Morley Town Hall by local historians, reservations not required.
Three tours on Saturday - 10 am, 12 noon, 2 pm
Two tours on Sunday - 11 am and 1 pm
Meet in the Town Hall foyer.
The tour includes the Mayor's Parlour, the old Courtroom and cells, Council Chamber, large and small banqueting halls, and the Alexandra Hall.
Live courtroom drama enacted by students of Morley High School.
Morley Community Archives will also be there to explain and demonstrate what we do. New for 2007 is our 22 feet long panorama of Queen Street over three decades. It will also be an opportunity to purchase items as shown on our Shop page, including the Story of Morley Town Hall on DVD and the second edition of our popular Picture Archive CD-ROM. Discounts apply on production of a Friends membership card, or for new members joining at the Open Days.
